Spring has Sprung

What's the expression, Spring has Sprung? It's definetly in full effect right now. The flowers have blossomed. Leaves and grass has sprouted. The birds are chirping and the bees are buzzing. To me this is one of the most beautiful times of year. I don't know quite why, but to me there's always been something very special about the Springtime. Maybe it's something in the way that the flowers and grass smell as they are growing. Or maybe the excitement of watching new life grow. Perhaps it's just the excitement that's in the air.

Maybe that's the reason they say so many people fall in love in the Springtime. If you think about it all those blooming flowers can be a rather potent force. And not to mention those chirping birds. I'm not quite sure why, but I always remember in the Disney cartoons you see lots of chirping birds and blooming flowers. Cinderella had them, so did Snow White. If I remember correctly so did Sleeping Beauty. I can't remember any of the other cartoons. Though I do remember that in every story the Princess always sang. I'm tone deaf, I wonder if that means that I'm in trouble. Though I've always felt like I was Tinkerbell, she didn't sing. And I don't care what you say Peter Pan was her man. Maybe I really am Tinkerbell, I always thought Peter Pan's boyish charm was adorable. I know I know I'm not your typical woman, but I like it that way.
