Picture Perfect

There's something beautiful about an cloudy Spring morning along the ocean. The way both the clouds and the sun reflect upon the water have this beauty that's hard to put into words. It seems the only way it's beauty could be properly explained would be with a photograph or a painting. But I will try my best to express it in words. As you look at the water it has this funky sheen to it, like it has the glow from the sun without the sparkle. The water is also this shade that can't quite be described in words. It's kinda like a gray, blue, green color with a hint of pink. I know it sounds weird, but it's quite stunning. Perhaps I do agree that it is a little weird that I'm so mystified by the water. Maybe it's because there's something about it that reminds me of a Monet painting. Though I never remember seeing him painting beach scenes. All I remmeber were those big impressive lily pad paintings. There was always something about that I loved. Maybe it's that I imagine that's how a Monet painting would look if he painted a beach scene.
