Shockwaves...

It's funny sometimes I'll look at this blank screen a few seconds before I think of something to type... Sometimes I'll erase it a few times and start over again... If you think about it... We really are the first computer generation... If I was writing this with pen and paper... I probably would have stratched out and started over again several times... Using way more paper than necessary... Then eventually just getting disgusted and quitting...

It's funny how much the computer changed modern society... Look at the impact that one little piece of equipment had on our lives... Can you imagine our modern society without it... All the things that we use it for work... our personal lives... to communicate... to keep in touch... Of course there are less useful ascepts to it too... But if you think about everything in life you've gotta take the good with the bad...

If you really think about it computers have had quite the impact on our lives... And probably a bigger impact then many people take the time to realize or appreciate... In time or perhaps already they will have the impact of running water, electricity, the car, yadda yadda yadda... But it's impact will be felt a lot faster then any of those... Look at all the things the internet as accomplished, how much our much our modern communication system has increased in size... And at such a rapid pace... Fifteen years ago, maybe even less time than that the average American barely even understood what the internet was let alone use it... Now someone's Grandma's on e-bay selling stupid shit... That's a long way away from when people were first on Prodigy... Like fifteen years ago... I remember when I had a couple of friends in high school who used to chat on Prodigy and think they were the shit... It's kinda funny when you look back now...
