One Wave at a Time...

One of the most beautiful things about working at Kingsboro... Or as some people call it... K by the Bay... Is the absolutely beautiful campus... If you ask me it's one of the nicest views in all of Brooklyn... Perhaps even the nicest... Hey it's hard to beat a private beach... Just ask the gulls if you don't believe me... I love Fridays here... Not just because I don't have to come back till Monday... Though that definetly is the best reason... But because it's so quiet because there's so few students... I love the peaceful and the serenity of it all... While I walk along the water... I think how nice a totally undisturbed beach would be... One not destroyed by human contact... Without trash... Contaimated water... How peaceful the animals along the beach would live... Because if you think about how much of their world we've really destroyed... It's kinda sad... Everyday I look and I see how much trash is strewn along the sand... One day I actually saw a swan trying to find food along the sand... And I saw him trying to munch on plastic and paper cups... I even saw him trying to eat the outside of a gasoline can... Part of me thought how sad we don't even think twice about we've destroyed parts of their little world... And I couldn't help but wonder how perfect their little world would be if it wasn't for us... Destroying their world one wave at a time...
