Do You Believe in Magic

Disclaimer: It's been awhile since I've played with my list... So I figured it was about time to play with it again... I'm not really sure I'm changing anything... And yes I did leave off the fun stuff... Maybe I'll give a shortened explanation of each one... It's kinda boring without it... Actually it sounds too much like a grocery list that way... or a factory built product... Wouldn't it be cool if we could do that... But to be honest we probably would just take the person for granted... I'm at a point in my life where I've experienced enough to know when I'm with the right person for me I would able to appreciate them... Not to mention spoil them horribly rotten... oh the colors here we go silver... that cloud... dream thing again... red true love... blue true blue... purple passion... orange... bright... my new outlook on love...

I. Personality - This goes first Duh! Personality is the most important because, well it's such a large part of you are.

1. Honest and Sincere- ummm duh! Liars aren't cool
2. Trustworthy and Loyal - who would want to be with someone they can't trust
3. Faithful - Cheater's aren't cool
4. Down to Earth - Dudes that put airs aren't cool
5. Upbeat - Nobody likes someone that's a downer. It's important to look on the bright side.
6. Funny - Nothing turns me on faster then someone that can make me laugh.
7. Intelligent not an Intellectual Snob - Nothing is more of a turn-off then someone who thinks they are smarter than everyone else.
8. Talkative - I talk... a lot... so he should be able to talk back... and maybe be able to stop my running mouth a little bit... Maybe that's too big a challenge... A girl can dream can't she...
9. A little goofy...maybe a little more than that...he should be more goofy then me
10. A Nice guy... I know i've heard from guys that it's not cool... because when most women say it they actually don't mean. I actually believe that there's a nice guy out there for me... Maybe I don't have a choice... Because I know what it's like when you think the one you chose was... And you wake up one day and realize he's an asshole... I rather be alone for the rest of my life than be with another asshole...
11. Knows where 42 comes from ... I know I'm a geeky...ok he doesn't have to know but he should he at least not roll his eyes when I tell him
12. Puts up with my bad impressions and has a few himself
13. Boyish Charm - I know I'm strange... but there's nothing cuter than someone who gets excited about the little things... Besides then they won't look at me crazy when I get too excited over silly little things... like cupcakes... and ice cream... and cheesecake... alright anything sweet.
14. Humble and Modest - who wants to be with an arrogant asshole... see nice guy above... hmmm when I do that maybe I should also put the number... oh well too late now...
15. Can put up with my perverted sense of humor. Note: He's not an actual pervert.

II Personal Beliefs - I know this may fit under personality but I figured I would seperate it...After all it's my list and I can do what I want

1. Passionate about Life- isn't that pretty obvious... Who wants to be with someone that's a bummer...
2. Self Respect- I don't want a doormat... He should be able to stand on his own two feet
3. Self Confident but not cocky... ummm Duh...
4. Patience- Duh... he's gonna need it with me... look at this fucking list... It's like Prego... It's all in there... God I'm an ad geek...
5. High Ingrity - He should some sorta value system
6. Believes in freedom -- Personal and Financial
7. Has goals and Dreams --- What's the point of life without them
8. Dedicated and Ambitious- Another Duh... Yes I do like saying duh... Get used to it...
9. Believes in Self Development- Duh... Being stagnant isn't cool...
10.Comfortable with himself- Duh...
11. Good Communicator- See that talkative thing... This goes with that... 'Nough Said...
12. Ability to Forgive- Maybe this should go up higher... I put my foot in my mouth a lot...
13. He's an optimist but he's still grounded in reality... duh... duh... duh...
14. Handles Stress with ease- duh... duh... duh... maybe this is another one that should be higher...
15. Has control over his temper- more duhs
16. Loves having a high level of energy- God do I always repeat myself like this... no wonder you laugh when I complain in my song blogs...
17. Understands a real man doesn't need to wear his machoness on his sleeve... I've always wondered if all really machoness was to hide the fact that they were gay... I didn't just right that to make you laugh...
18. Understands the Value of money, but doesn't believe in flashing it around- the importance of money is that it can give you options... not something to buy things to rub in people faces... To give you personal freedom... And make an impact in the world...
19. He's not an Asshole... Duh... and doesn't want a bitch...
20. Can deal with my sarcasm... Have you seen my responses...

III. In a Relationship
1. Gets me - Alright it's not immediate... but I think he should take the time to trully understand me... And I'll do the same for him...
2. Believes opposites attract, but similarities last... Do I really need to explain?
3. Interdependent- Alright I admit I'm still working on this... But that doesn't mean I don't want to...
4. Encourages me to be a better person and better myself- duh
5. Able to express emotions- what's the point if he can't
6. Open minded and flexible- If he can't compromise... what's the point... it's the strong foundation for any relationship...
7. Courteous and respectful... and why would I want the alternative...
8. Accepts me as I am... If can't accept someone warts and all a relationship will never work
9. Handles conflict well... ummm... duh...
10. A good listener... how can you do lot of the other stuff on this long ass list if you don't
11. Romantic... umm duh...
12. Knows how to find my warm and fuzzy side... believe it or not there's one in there... 13. Likes being spoiled and spoils me in return... duh...
14. He's a gentleman... yes real women do prefer gentlemen... why would I prefer the alternative...
15. Accepts my adoptive family members...God help him with the real ones hee hee hee
16. Believes there's someone out there for everyone... well if he doesn't how is ever gonna believe that I'm for him... duh

IV Hmmm Random shit that didn't fit in the other three - most of them I didn't bother with details... This list long I'm getting lazy...

1. Good Hygene --- I think this actual belongs in the second one but I wanted it at the top of a list so I put it here.
2. Understands the value of culture (art, music, theater, etc)
3. Treat my family the way you want me to treat yours
4. Has a spiritual side but is not religious
5. Believes it's important to give back
6. Believes in karma
7.Somewhat of history buff, if we don't understand the past we're doomed to repeat it.
8. Has a sweet tooth - he must enjoy my chocolate chip cookies... I need practice with other stuff
9. Loves to travel
10.Likes to clean my messes in the kitchen. hee hee hee
11. Understands the value of a home cooked meal
12. Believes that there should be places left for nature to develop
13. If he can't fix something...he's man enough to find someone that can
14. Same goes for directions
15. Can keep up with my drinking

Does this sound a little familiar... Think about it... I'll give you a little while... No I'm not fucking with you... That darn law of attraction... Don't worry if this list doesn't make my point... I'll just get a few anvils from Acme to drop over your head... Hopefully I won't drop it on my foot... I'm such a klutz like goofy... And yes I do drive like him too...
