Godfather of Grunge

It's funny sometimes how sometimes I'll sit here and wonder what should I write. The reason that I say it's funny is because I could just not blog if I don't have anything constructive say. Because what really is the point if I don't. But for some reason there's something that draws me in to writing. And it's totally unexplainable, because it's not like I normally write in a diary. In fact I haven't written in a diary in about a decade. Maybe it's not meant to have an explanation.

That's interesting... It's better to burn out then fade away I always thought was a line from a Def Leppard song... But a Neil Young song just came... And I heard the lyric... Maybe it's from one than one song... Because I'm pretty sure that it's not a cover... Unless it is... Something to google... Maybe I should just went to wikipedia... It looks like that's where the best info comes from... I must have been confusing the line... Looks like it's only from the Neil Young song...

But I did get some pretty background info on the song... The song came out after punk was starting to become very popular... And many people viewed him and other musicians from his time period as "dinosaurs"... He wrote out of fear of going obsolute... You have to respect that rather than wanna fade away he tried to embrace the new punk movement... What's really cool though is that the song inspired many of the grunge bands... Wow this is kinda freaky... Kurt Cobain used the line on his suicide note... Can you imagine knowing that a line in your song inspired someone to go kill themselves...
