More Than a Feeling
I've always thought this was a really sweet song. I'm not quite sure why. I guess I find something cute about these big hard core rocker dudes singing a ballad like that. A lot of the bands in the 80's did that, and I think it really softened them. That these hard core rockers could still sit there and sing something that showed their softer side. Most men have this obsession with having to be macho. And even make fun of guys that aren't. I love to see a guy that's capable of showing emotions. To me that's a really big turn-on and really sexy. Because lets face it, it's one thing that would set himself apart from other men. It shows how secure he really is if he perfectly fine with expressing his emotions. Only a insecure man would hide how he trully feels behind his machoness. So a man that can go beyond the traditional roles and just be himself and express exactly how he feels is a quality that I find real attractive. In fact the more he's able to express himself the more turned on I get. A man that has no shame in crying in public shows exaclty how secure he is, because he has enough confidence to not care what anyone else thinks. Let's face it he's more likely to be comfortable with who he is. I personally feel like a man who's real macho is hiding something, and doesn't have enough confidence to reveal his true self. If you ask me, a man that's very expressive with his emotions is more of a man. Simply because they don't feel the need to hide their true selves. And the reason that macho men taunt men that aren't that way is out of jealously, because they don't have half as much confidence as that "girly man". So listen to Madonna, Express Yourself. Don't worry about crying, it's actually very sexy.
