Embraceable You...

Today there's a visible haze in the water and along the bottom edges of the sky. You know that summer has arrived when you can see the humidity. There's something unique about the way the haze hangs in the sky right above the water. Maybe it's because the lines between the water and the sky are very blurry. And today you can't see the water or the sky all the way down to the horizon. With how humid it is today, it feels like a great day to go into the water. There's something in the way the water calls to me. In some ways, it sounds like a old fashioned sweet melody. You know the kind that your grandmother would hum to you as a child. I can't quite explain it, but there's something about the water that makes me want to embrace it.
